Slumbersome (sleep yoga) can also be known as Nidra Yoga.Have your shower or bath, put on your comfy pj’s. Set up your laptop or other device in the same place that you go to sleep, this way if you wish you can climb under the duvet and go straight to sleep after the practise. The brain secretes more melatonin (makes you sleepy) when dark so dim the lights, put on some soft music in the background and tune in, to wind down, clear your head and calm the mind. With a slow sleep sequence to help your mind and body say ‘night, night’.
